This activity will be offered in French only.

We are pleased to invite you to a special conference reserved for professionals in the co-ownership sector, dedicated to the syndicate certificate and the first observations drawn from its first eight months of application.

Since the coming into force of the new obligations arising from Bill 16, the syndicate certificate has become a central element in co-ownership real estate transactions. More detailed, more structured and more demanding, it raises numerous questions for professionals called upon to support syndicates, buyers, sellers and co-owners.

Through the combined perspectives of legal professionals, notaries, real estate brokers, managers and financial experts, this conference will provide concrete feedback from the field, highlight the issues observed since the implementation of the certificate, and present best practices to better anticipate the obligations of co-ownership syndicates.

The event will also explore the connections between the syndicate certificate, the maintenance log, the contingency fund study and the documentation essential to sound co-ownership governance.

This conference will help participants better understand:

  • Professionals’ first impressions after eight months of application;
  • The impacts of the syndicate certificate on real estate transactions;
  • The information now expected from syndicates;
  • The links between the maintenance log and the contingency fund study;
  • The practical challenges encountered by directors, managers and professionals;
  • The best practices to adopt in order to better advise clients and syndicates.

Designed to address the concerns of professionals, this event will provide clear and practical guidance to better understand the new requirements, avoid grey areas and effectively support co-ownerships in this new regulatory environment.

Who is this conference intended for?

This conference is intended for professionals in the co-ownership sector, including lawyers, notaries, real estate brokers, property managers, accountants, and other stakeholders seeking to better understand the syndicate certificate and its concrete impact on their professional practice.
